School age network manager

South Bronx Rising Together (SBRT) is seeking a Manager for our network of stakeholders committed to improving outcomes for school-aged children in the community. This person will facilitate a collaborative of cross-sector partners focused on projects and partnerships that improve outcomes for youth and teenagers in Bronx Community District 3. Children’s Aid and Phipps Neighborhoods are the conveners of this partnership and the Manager will report to the Phipps Neighborhood Chief of Staff. This will be a full-time role, based at Phipps Neighborhoods.
As a member of the SBRT Backbone Team, the full-time School-Age Network Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Develop and cultivate relationships with community stakeholders, including leaders in education, business, faith, nonprofit, philanthropic and civic sectors.
Design and manage structures for the development of trust and productive working relationships within the network
Provide facilitation, strategic thinking, and project management to the network’s activities
Lead the convening and organizing of partners for evidence-based continuous improvement action plans
Expand communication about the work of the School-Age Network, among SBRT partners and to other key education and youth development stakeholders in NYC
Create systems for tracking and reporting the status of Network projects, including process measures and outcomes (in consultation with the Data Manager)
Plan and facilitate Quarterly Roundtable meetings for the network, in addition to trainings and special events
Regular presentations and written reports on project progress, network activities, and convening or meetings
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience
Experience with elementary, middle, and high schools (public, charter, and private), youth-based CBOs, and education-focused non-profits
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse staff and families
Excellent meeting facilitation and project management skills, including clear and concise verbal and written communications
Adept interpersonal skills, focusing on building relationships and resolving conflict
Experience with utilizing continuous quality improvement processes and methodology
Familiarity with Results-Based Accountability frameworks
Technologically proficient, especially in presenting data, project management software (like Asana and Trello) and project deliverables
Flexibility to respond to emerging needs
Fluency in a second language commonly spoken in the community (preferred)
